Responsibilities
· Oversee the financial planning and analysis (FPA) process, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of financial performance.
· Develop and implement budgeting strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and operational needs.
· Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, and department heads, to communicate financial insights and strategies.
· Lead the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
· Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
· Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiencies across the organization.
· Monitor industry trends and economic factors that may impact the business, adjusting financial strategies accordingly.
· Evaluate potential investment opportunities and assess their financial viability, providing recommendations to the executive team.
· Ensure effective cash flow management to support operational needs and strategic investments.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or in a similar senior financial leadership role within the technology or e-commerce sector.
· Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FPA), budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
· Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including investors and board members.
· In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the e-commerce industry.
· Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
· Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing finance teams.
· Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
· Experience with financial software and tools that enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
· Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve organizational goals and drive growth.
· A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
